Avery and Becky co-founded Everoot Consulting with the mission to support business leaders in their effort to build socially and environmentally responsible companies. During their time at Westmont College pursuing degrees in Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship, they took coursework exploring the intersection of global business, sustainability, and innovation. Most formidably, they traveled together to develop and improve microfinance programs in Haiti and Uganda. These global experiences solidified their belief that business can, in fact, be a force for good.
Eager to address the prevalent human rights abuses and environmental degradation across the globe and to inspire businesses to use their models to make a positive impact, Becky and Avery founded Everoot Consulting. Their primary aim was to help businesses identify areas to improve their social & environmental performance. They identified the BIA as the best framework for companies to improve and capitalize on their social and environmental impact, and committed themselves to becoming B Corp Certification specialists.

Everoot was founded around the realization that business can be a powerful tool to address pressing social and environmental problems. We are proud to donate 5% of our revenue to organizations that support under-resourced social entrepreneurs across the globe through funding, training and/or business incubation.
